Custom eLearning Development, From Storyboard to Online Course

You have the storyboards. Now you need someone who can turn them into finished courses that look good, work on the first try and track in your LMS. I take your storyboards through full production, from narration and media to testing and launch. One course or a long series, the process stays the same.

Full Production Under One Roof

Custom eLearning development covers everything between an approved storyboard and a live course:

  • Screen design and course templates that match your brand
  • Professional or AI-generated narration, synced to on-screen content
  • Graphics, animation and video
  • Interactions, scenarios and software simulations
  • Quizzes and assessments that report scores
  • Quality assurance and LMS integration

I build in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or custom HTML5 and JavaScript when a project needs something the authoring tools cannot do.

I act as one point of contact for the whole build. You do not have to coordinate a voice artist, a graphic designer and a developer separately. I manage the pieces, keep the schedule and give you regular updates on what is done and what is next.

Many Storyboards, One Consistent Result

Large programs bring their own challenges. Storyboards may come from several writers with different habits. I set up shared templates, naming rules and a build checklist so every course in the series looks and behaves the same. When volume climbs, I bring in trusted contractors and hold their work to the same standards.

I also flag storyboard issues early. If a screen will be hard to build, a script runs too long for the narration budget, or an interaction will not work well on mobile, I raise it before development starts. That keeps rework to a minimum.

Quality Checks Before You See It

Nothing should reach your reviewers with obvious bugs. Each course goes through a QA pass for text accuracy, audio sync, navigation, accessibility basics and browser behavior. Then it is tested in your LMS or a matching environment. Your review time goes to content decisions, not chasing broken buttons.

Accessibility matters on every project. I build with keyboard navigation, captions, alt text and readable contrast in mind, so more learners can use the course and your organization is better prepared for accessibility reviews.

AI in the Production Process

AI tools now handle a good share of the routine production work. I use them for draft narration, image cleanup, caption files, alt text drafts and automated checks for spelling and broken links. That frees up hours for the parts that need a person: instructional judgment, polish and careful testing. Every AI output is reviewed before it goes into a course.

AI also makes it easier to produce several versions of a course, such as a translated edition or a shorter refresher, from the same approved content. A fluent reviewer checks each version before release.

Common Questions

Do you write the storyboards too?

This service starts from your storyboards, but I can help there as well. With more than 15 years in instructional systems design, I can review storyboards for gaps, suggest improvements, or write them with your subject matter experts.

Can you match our existing course style?

Yes. Send a sample course or your brand guide and I will build templates that match it, so new courses fit right in with your current catalog.

How do reviews work?

You review working builds instead of static screenshots. I collect comments in one place, make the changes and track each round so nothing gets lost. We agree on the number of review rounds up front so the schedule stays clear.
